Jennifer is a Partner in Thorntons Family Law team and is based in the Dundee office.

She is accredited as a specialist in Family Law, Child Law and Family Mediation by the Law Society of Scotland and is also a fully trained collaborative lawyer. Jennifer has a wide range of experience which includes providing advice and representation for divorce settlements, separation agreements, cohabitation cases and disputes involving children.

Jennifer is a past chair of the Family Law Association, the professional organisation for family lawyers in Scotland. 

She is  a member of the Law Society of Scotland mediation specialist accreditation panel. She is also qualified as a child inclusive mediation consultant which means she can involve a child or children as a part of a mediation process in which arrangements are being made for children.
